How to copy cell's format in Excel - Format Painter

Hi guys,

Today I would like to show how to copy cell's format to another cell or cells. There is a copy option in Excel called "Format Painter" in home tab of the ribbon. See the below image.

This is the function which we going to learn in this lesson. Let's see how we use this in excel sheet.
First of all we need to format one cell with some options like bold the text, underline the text, add font color, add background color etc.  I arranged a cell like below.

Ok. Next, we need to select the cell that we have formatted and after that just go and click the "Format Painter" which I have shown the previous image. When we click the Format Painter, the format of the selected cell will be copied and cursor will be shown as below.

After that we can paste the copied cell format to a any cell or to cells. The method to paste the copied format is just go to the relevant cell and just click on that cell. Then the format will be pasted to the relevant cell. Assume that you need to add this format to more than one cells by one time. Then you need to click and hold the first cell and drag where you need to finish the the pasting and release the mouse. Below you could see the result.

Click and hold and drag
Release the mouse

Try this for several times and any help please comment. Thank you.
